About Me

Trevor Lubinski – Learning and Development Manager

My name is Trevor Lubinski, and I was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I am passionate about elevating others and generally making the world around me a better place.

Education also defines me. It’s funny because people often refer to me as the guy who never left school, a perpetual student. After graduating from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts Advanced, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Business Organization, my educational journey didn’t stop there. I undertook three years of general science courses and am currently completing the final course in the PDAL certificate program at the University of Manitoba.

Throughout my schooling, I was frequently confronted with that looming and seemingly unavoidable question: “What do you want to be, and what separates you from everyone else?” It’s a challenging question, especially if approached from the wrong perspective. People don’t usually have one major trait that sets them apart from others. For me, it’s the culmination of small things. My passion for helping others is what drives me out of bed every morning and motivates me to reach my ultimate potential. I push myself daily to go above and beyond, guided by my parents’ teaching that “good enough” won’t lead you to where you need to be and won’t make a lasting impact.

By day, I am a Learning and Development Manager in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and by night, I am a lifelong learner, a sports fanatic, and a socializer. I sincerely hope you have enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it. I would love to hear from you if you have any questions about me. Additionally, I will be writing a series of blog posts, reviews, and testimonials on the current and future trends in learning, development, and personal branding.

Someone great once told me:

“While your laying in bed at the end of a busy day to take a minute to reflect. Think of a couple things you learned that day that you didn’t know when you woke up. You will be pleasantly surprised.”
